Prezi
This is a very basic example of a Prezi presentation. A lot more can be done with this app.
Our Wiki space
This wiki space was created in class by Dr. Priego and teams had to work on various project including a simulation of a wiki collaborative work.
It also contains examples of other application used during class that are mentioned on this page. Please see the other links for more details.
Wordle
Ths is a neat application that can be used for a variety of purpose. One of the purposes I thought about was that students could used this application after they have written a text on a topic, to input the text in the application and se what is the most important, repeated words that comes up in larger font. Have them reflect on those words, are they the ones they had used in their brainstorming, the draft they made contained these words?
Tutorial to create a art of words
Webquest
This is an example of the webquest we have achieved. The site we used was great and very flexible. The webquest was based on a classroom task I had design at the begining of the school year for my ESL sec III students. They produced a three fold leaflet or travel brochure using Publisher. Some of the results were astonishing.
Powerpoint game
A small game to entertain! This shows how we can program an application like powerpoint to serve a completely new purpose. However this demands a lot of time and has all sorts of details that require time and dedication. Once completed the result is great but the time and effort put in versus the lenght of time for which students use it is greatly disproportionned.
Glogster
A neat way to create posters, Publisher can get a break!
